Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Java Engineer to join our team of bright thinkers and doers. You’ll use your problem-solving creativity to figure out our client’s most complex and challenging problems across different industries. We are on a mission to transform the world, and you will be instrumental in shaping how we do it with your ideas, thoughts, and solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications and services
- Design, develop, test, and maintain modern Angular web applications and user interfaces
- Build scalable, secure, and high-availability systems using modern Java frameworks
- Develop end-to-end solutions across frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure
- Lead technical design discussions and contribute to architecture decisions
- Contribute to frontend architecture decisions, component design, and UI standards
- Presentation skills and interaction with stakeholders
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code (unit, integration, and automated tests)
- Implement responsive and accessible user interfaces following UX/UI best practices
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and security
- Optimize frontend performance, application loading times, and user experience
- Review code and mentor junior and mid-level engineers
- Collaborate with product managers, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders
- Participate in agile ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
- Provide root cause analysis on complex production issues
- Work closely with designers and product owners to translate business requirements into intuitive user experiences
- Ensure seamless integration between Angular frontend applications and Java-based backend services
Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of experience as a Java Developer
- 3+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using Angular
- Experience with microservices architectures (service discovery, circuit breaker, docker containerization, centralized logging)
- Hands-on experience within the Java/Kotlin ecosystem, including Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and building advanced Spring Boot starters and libraries
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP)
- Experience developing and integrating web services: REST, SOAP
- Strong experience building REST API integrations with Angular frontends
- Experience with persistence frameworks (Hibernate, JPA)
- SQL (Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL)
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra)
- Experience using build & CI/CD tools: Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Gitlab, Docker, etc.
- Experience with messaging systems (JMS, Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Fluency in English
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Experience with automated testing (JUnit, Mockito, Testcontainers, integration and end-to-end testing)
- Strong knowledge of Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend development practices
- Experience with Angular Material, PrimeNG, or similar UI component libraries
- Experience with frontend testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Karma, Cypress, or Playwright
- Understanding of state management patterns (NgRx, Signals, RxJS-based architectures)
- Knowledge of web security best practices (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, CORS, CSRF protection)
- Experience building responsive applications and supporting multiple browsers and devices
