Description
LR-Associates, LLC (LRA) is a Small Business Administration (SBA) graduated 8(a), Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) that provides Logistics Support; Facilities Management (Operations & Maintenance); and Program Management. We support Federal, State, and Local Governments as well as Private Industry by offering skilled personnel throughout a wide-array of technical disciplines.
We are looking for an Project Manger(Janitorial/Houskeeper) to support the St. Louis VA Medical Center in St. Louis, MO. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of (5) years' experience in managing large complex teams in the Environmental-Hospital Services industry, specifically with Sanitation teams. A minimum of the last (2) years shall be in a hospital or other accredited healthcare facility. Detailed knowledge of cleaning procedures and customer service skills is a must. In addition, managing and overseeing the cleaning schedule and requirements.
Certification(s):
Must currently possess or willing to obtain within 12 months; Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Profession (CHESP) issued by Association for the Healthcare Environment (AHE) or Certified Registerd Exeutive Housekeeper (C/REH) issued by the International Executive Housekeepers Association (IEHA)
Applicants must be US citizen and must be able to pass a background check performed by the Federal Government.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise the work activities of janitorial personnel in a professional environment. Assign duties, inspect work, and investigate complaints regarding janitorial services and take corrective action. May purchase janitorial supplies, manage stock level of inventory, train new employees, and recommend dismissals. Multiple shifts available, Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm/3pm-11:30pm.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit, stand, reach, bend and stoop for extended periods of time; Ascending/Descending stairs and required to move equipment weighing up to 20 pounds frequently; May be required to lift up to 30 lbs.
