What You Will Do
Job Definition:
Part of the Global Logistics & Spares Supply Chain (GLSS) Sourcing organization, this role supports enterprise-wide Logistics Rate Management and Pricing governance.
- Acts as a key enabler for transformation initiatives in Logistics including Transportation Management System (TMS) implementation and other projects related to implementation or new Vendor Onboardings/transitions
- Drives standardized rate card management across all logistics modes (Air, Ocean, Surface, Rail, Parcel, Warehousing, Brokerage).
- Collaborates cross-functionally with Sourcing, Finance, IT/DT, Operations, and external logistics partners (3PLs, carriers, Freight audit providers).
- Supports sourcing strategies through analytical data insights about Rate/pricing attributes to prevent any potential cost leakages.
- Ensures seamless integration of commercial rate structures into enterprise systems (S4, TMS, TRAX)
- Enables accurate pricing execution for downstream processes including freight audit, accruals, and invoice settlement.
- Plays a critical role in establishing scalable processes and governance for future-ready logistics operations.
- Supports transition from manual processes to automated, system-driven rate management frameworks.
- Focuses on delivering cost efficiency, compliance, and operational excellence through data and analytics.

What You Need to Bring
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage, maintain, and analyze logistics rate cards across all transportation and service modes.
- Map and transform commercial rate data structures into system-compatible formats (TMS, SAP, etc)
- Ensure accurate and timely rate updates to support pricing, audit, accruals and settlement processes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to recommend best practice approaches and implement contractual rates.
- Identify discrepancies, rate gaps, and data anomalies; drive corrective and preventive actions to fix the Source
- Establish and execute governance frameworks to ensure rate accuracy, version control, and audit compliance.
- Support RFQs, sourcing events, and contract renewals through accurate and On- time Rate Card submissions into the respective platforms
- Drive risk mitigation strategies related to pricing accuracy, expired rates, and financial exposure.
- Enable successful onboarding of new carriers, vendors, and systems including TMS transformations.
- Generate and present analytics, dashboards, and KPI reports on rate management performance.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including standardization, automation, and process optimization.
- Operate effectively in a global environment with cross-regional collaboration and time-zone alignment.
Education and Experience Required:
- First level university degree or equivalent experience; may have advanced university degree.
- Typically, 4-6 years of experience in Logistics Procurement, Rate Management or Supply chain function and multi-region teams (AMS, EMEA, APJ preferred).
- Proven experience in rate card management, pricing analytics, or freight audit processes.
- Exposure to sourcing events (RFQs) and contract pricing structures is preferred.
- Hands-on experience supporting system implementations or transformations (TMS, ERP, automation tools).
- Familiarity with data governance, audit compliance, and financial accrual processes.
- Strong communication skills with ability to present challenges, recommendation, and insights to business stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and deliver measurable business impact.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of Logistics and Modes of transportation (Air, Ocean, Surface, Parcel, Warehousing, Brokerage).
- Strong understanding of logistics pricing structures including freight rates, accessorial, fuel surcharges, and discount mechanisms.
- Hands-on experience with ERP (SAP S/4HANA), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and freight audit tools
- Ability to interpret complex commercial contracts and translate them into system-ready rate structures.
- Proficiency in data transformation, validation, and handling complex rate data.
- Process-oriented mindset with focus on governance, compliance, and audit readiness.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities with strong attention to detail.
- Problem Solving ability to analyse the nuisances, workflow and troubleshooting to solve exceptions and work on fixing the source
- Strong technical skills (Advanced Excel, PowerPoint; SQL or data tools preferred).
- Ability to manage large datasets and identify trends, outliers, and optimization opportunities.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
