With our technical capabilities, the Medication Management Solutions (MMS) team are able to manage multiple systems and our operational capabilities enable us to have medications available when and where needed, reducing inefficiency and waste for nursing and pharmacy teams.
About the role
The Area Sales Manager, Medication Management Solutions (MMS)
will lead and develop the commercial team across the Northern Region of Saudi Arabia, driving sales growth, market share expansion, and profitability for BD's MMS portfolio. The role is responsible for achieving business objectives, developing strategic customer relationships, and ensuring excellence in commercial execution within the assigned territory.

Main responsibilities will include:
Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share targets.
Drive sales performance through effective account planning, opportunity management, and pipeline development.
Lead the execution of commercial initiatives, new product launches, and market expansion activities.
Deliver Annual Operating Plan (AOP) commitments, sales forecasts, and key business objectives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key healthcare stakeholders, including the Ministry of Health (MOH), NUPCO, MODA, NGHA, major private healthcare groups, and strategic accounts.
Support the negotiation and implementation of strategic agreements and business partnerships.
Drive customer satisfaction, retention, and business growth through proactive engagement and value-based selling.
Ensure effective utilization of Salesforce.com (SFDC) to maintain accurate forecasts, customer records, and pipeline visibility.
Monitor market trends, sales performance, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities and business risks.
Implement sales excellence processes, account management standards, and commercial governance requirements.
Lead business reviews and provide regular performance updates to senior leadership.
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Managers and Sales Specialists.
Conduct performance reviews, field coaching, and individual development planning.
Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, customer centricity, and continuous improvement.
Support talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
About You
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, or a related field. A Master's degree is an advantage.
Minimum 5-7 years of sales experience, including at least 3-4 years in a leadership or people management role. Experience within the medical device, healthcare, or pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Strong leadership, coaching, mentoring, and team development capabilities.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong knowledge of the Saudi Arabian healthcare market, procurement landscape, and regulatory environment.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Experience using Salesforce.com (SFDC) or similar CRM systems for customer relationship management, pipeline management, sales forecasting, and performance reporting.
