Shure Europe is seeking an Applications Engineer, a customer-facing technical role supporting Shure’s Conferencing & Collaboration portfolio across Benelux, with a primary focus on the Netherlands.

 

Combining advanced pre-sales and post-sales support, the role helps customers design, deploy and optimise Shure solutions for complex collaboration environments. You will work closely with Sales, Market Development and Customer Experience, building trusted relationships with strategic customers, consultants, system integrators and channel partners.

 

You will help established and new customers get the most from Shure solutions through technical troubleshooting, practical training and clear guidance.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced support for Shure Conferencing & Collaboration solutions, troubleshooting product, software, networking and system integration issues.
• Own complex cases through resolution and act as an escalation point for advanced technical enquiries.
• Support enterprise customers, consultants, integrators, distributors and channel partners.
• Support Unified Communications deployments and integrations across Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, Cisco and related platforms.
• Guide customers and partners on solution design, best practices, proofs of concept and solution validation.
• Partner with Sales and Market Development to understand customer needs and shape the right technical solution.
• Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops and product training, supporting consultant specifications, project opportunities and partner certification.
• Develop technical documentation, knowledge articles and best-practice guides, and share knowledge across Customer Experience and Sales teams.
• Work cross-functionally with Sales & Market Development, Customer Success, Product Management, PD & SV, Marketing and other Customer Experience teams.
• Bring customer and market insight into product improvements and future development.
• Identify recurring technical challenges, recommend corrective action and improve support processes, knowledge management and customer self-service.
• Promote technical excellence and practical best practices across the organisation.

Qualifications

• A degree in Audio Engineering, AV Technology, IT, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Around 3–5 years’ experience in application or technical support, AV integration, Unified Communications, system design or a related customer-facing technical role.
• Experience supporting enterprise customers and complex technical environments, ideally within conferencing, collaboration, AV, UC, IT infrastructure or networking.
• A strong understanding of conferencing and collaboration technologies, UC platforms, network fundamentals, audio signal flow and DSP, microphone and wireless technologies, and enterprise AV systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Cisco Collaboration, Dante or networked audio, Salesforce Service Cloud or a similar CRM, and SAP or Jira ticketing systems is advantageous.
• Fluency in Dutch, English and French, spoken and written; additional languages are welcome.

PAY TRANSPARENCY

Shure offers a competitive compensation structure that is reviewed annually to attract, hire, and retain the industry’s top talent. Salaries vary based on qualifications, location, experience, and expertise in each respective discipline. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum salary for the opportunity. The salary for this position ranges from EUR 46,000 to EUR 73,600. If your salary expectations do not align, still apply as we might be flexible on the seniority of posted positions. All positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
