Product Manager – Growth & Innovation (m/f/d)
Location: Full-Remote within the EU (Headquarters: Kassel, Germany)
Employment Type: Full-time
Department: Product Management
Industry: FinTech / Financial Services (11–50 Employees)
Required Experience: Minimum 3+ years in Product Management, Product Ownership, or Growth Management
About Us
Financial customer lifecycles are explicitly reflected through transaction data records. Our overarching target is to assist commercial clients in unlocking and extracting real value from these datasets in an agile, accessible, and high-impact manner.
We represent an innovative, data-led FinTech firm rooted in a company culture of fairness, open dialogue, and clarity. We deal with each other on equal footing, favor strong logic over corporate hierarchy, and emphasize self-governance over micro-level oversight. Operating via an agile, distributed model, we maintain a rapid cycle of prioritization, reduction, decisive action, and refinement.
We are searching for a forward-thinking and execution-focused Product Manager – Growth & Innovation to steer the growth trajectory and market presence of our industry-standard account-switching solutions across Europe.
Your Key Responsibilities
Product Vision & Roadmap Ownership: Assume total operational and strategic leadership for the future trajectory, core vision, and release roadmap of our primary account switch product ecosystem. Steer the development of original concepts alongside feature evolution.
European Market Growth & Opportunity Discovery: Systematically identify, evaluate, and capitalize on untapped use cases and market openings throughout Europe. Drive initiatives from initial hypothesis through proof-of-concept stages to full-scale deployment.
Data-Driven Backlog Prioritization: Rigorously organize and rank the development backlog using quantitative insights, transactional telemetry, and cross-examined user demands to maximize growth velocity.
Strategic Leadership & Sparring Partner: Work side-by-side with our Managing Director of Banking to refine product strategy, synchronize financial objectives, and ensure rapid, flexible decision-making loops.
Requirement Engineering & Execution: Deconstruct sophisticated requirements from financial institutions, corporate partners, and international clients into crisp, highly organized, and runnable epics and software stories.
KPI Tracking & Continuous Iteration: Determine key performance indicators for every new software iteration and functionality roll-out. Benchmark real-world outcomes against quantitative baselines to steer continuous product refinement.
Ideal Candidate Profile & Requirements
Must-Haves:
Professional Experience: At least 3 years of direct professional experience operating as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or Growth Lead, ideally inside a FinTech, banking enterprise, or SaaS/API environment.
Data-Driven & Entrepreneurial Mindset: Strong commercial acumen complemented by a concrete background of making strategic calls based on quantitative measurements and customer input instead of basic intuition.
Language Skills: C1-level proficiency in both German and English (oral and written) is mandatory to support communication across DACH and broader European business networks.
Tool Proficiency: Routine daily usage of agile project management platforms like Jira along with data spreadsheet tools like Microsoft Excel.
Communication & Execution: High-caliber communication skills, both verbal and written, with a talent for breaking down intricate technical topics for software engineers, clients, and C-suite leaders alike.
Travel Willingness: Readiness to travel roughly once every quarter for face-to-face team gatherings at our Kassel headquarters, plus occasional agreed-upon client meetings.
Nice-to-Haves:
Prior background in launching or expanding SaaS or API-oriented financial products into multiple European markets.
Command of additional European languages beyond English and German.
