Overview

Lorien Taneytown is seeking compassionate and dependable Dietary Aides to join our dedicated team.  As a valued member of our Food & Nutrition Services Department, you will play an important role in supporting the health, comfort, and well-being of our residents by helping prepare, serve, and deliver nutritious meals with care and attention.

Compensation

• $15.00-$15.50 per hour (based on experience)

• Same Day Pay for all employees

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Assist in preparing, serving, and cleaning up meals according to established standards and guidelines
• Deliver excellent customer service to residents, visitors, and team members
• Ensure the kitchen and dining areas remain clean, safe, and well-organized at all times
• Collaborate with dietary staff to provide nutritious, appealing meals that meet residents’ dietary needs
• Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and infection control regulations

Qualifications

• PT/PRN hour available
• Schedule: 5:45a-2:15p / 3:30p-7:30p
• Every-other weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday)
• Age Requirement: Must be 17 years or older
• Ability to safely lift, push, and pull up to 25–50 pounds as part of daily job responsibilities, with or without reasonable accomodation.
