Job Description
As a Security Guard Unarmed - Site Response in Blythewood, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, support access control activities, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position offers the opportunity to contribute to a caring, team-focused culture while representing Allied Universal with agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, production spaces, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
- Communicate professionally with employees, contractors, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns and site activities.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 2 years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience is required.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
