To help deliver on this mission, we are seeking a Senior Professional, Product Marketing Strategy to support the development and execution of marketing strategies for Humana’s owned insurance brokerage business.You will drive the marketing strategy, leading marketing intake from the assigned line of business, and help ensure consistency, cohesion, and strategic alignment across marketing initiatives. This is an opportunity to be the originator of a newly developed role, molding and shaping it into its highest potential. This role will report to the Director of Portfolio & Product Marketing Strategy.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead the development and evolution of marketing strategies by partnering with business partners to translate objectives, opportunities and challenges into consumer insight-driven strategy that increases engagement, retention and sustainable growth.
- Support the development and refinement of annual marketing planning, intake briefs, marketing briefs, messaging frameworks, value propositions, and strategic recommendations that align priorities and strengthen brand equity.
- Partner with the Insights team to identify research opportunities, translate findings into actionable consumer insights, and inform messaging frameworks and marketing strategy.
- Collaborate with the Brand Strategy team to ensure marketing initiatives clearly reflect and reinforce brand positioning from intake through execution.
- Partner with Customer Life Cycle Marketing, Analytics, Creative & Content, and cross-functional agile teams, empowering them to translate strategy into effective go-to-market execution, ensuring campaign plans, measurement frameworks, KPIs and creative execution align with business objectives and overarching strategy.
- Monitor and identify industry trends and competitor activity, informing opportunities and strategic recommendations.
- Champion consumer-centric thinking, ensuring that initiatives are grounded in meaningful consumer insights while honoring business priorities and enterprise goals.
- Manage stakeholder alignment across business, marketing and support functions, ensuring clarity, accountability and timely decision-making.
- Capture and share key learnings, develop scalable tools and playbooks and recommend optimization opportunities to enhance effectiveness.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 6+ years of experience in product marketing, brand marketing, marketing strategy, go-to-market planning/development or a related role leading cross-functional initiatives within a matrixed organization.
- Strong project and initiative management skills, including experience managing timelines, dependencies, risk mitigation plans, messaging frameworks, value propositions, and providing constructive input during creative review processes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to create clear briefs, synthesize input, and deliver concise updates and performance readouts.
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in white space, balancing strategic thinking with execution, adapting to evolving priorities and help shape a newly established role.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Strategy, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience in healthcare, insurance, finance, other regulated industries or large multi-brand organizations (example: consumer package goods)
- Background in strategic planning, turning business objectives into marketing strategies, translating results into learnings and actions.
- Experience collaborating across teams such as insights, creative partners, legal, compliance and more to execute initiatives.
Travel:
Occasional travel to Humana’s offices for training or meetings may be required.

This position operates under Central Standard Time (CST) or Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours.
