Job Title: Surgical Technician
Location: The Surgical Institute of Central Florida 12363 W. Colonial Drive STE 100, Winter Garden, FL 34787
Responsibilities:
- Assist surgeons and surgical teams by preparing and maintaining sterile fields in the operating room.
- Handle and organize surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment before, during, and after procedures.
- Process, sterilize, and maintain surgical instruments and equipment according to industry standards.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations.
- Work collaboratively with the surgical team to support efficient operating room workflows.
- Monitor and restock OR and sterile processing department supplies as needed.
- Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Surgical Technician (CST) and/or Sterile Processing Technician (CRCST) preferred.
- Previous experience in an operating room and/or sterile processing department required.
- Strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation and sterilization techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to patient safety and high-quality surgical care.
