As a Warehouse IV, you will play a critical role in supporting warehouse and logistics operations by ensuring the safe handling, movement, storage, and distribution of materials. You will work closely with operations, logistics, and supply chain teams to maintain inventory accuracy, support customer requirements, and contribute to overall operational efficiency.
Fueling Your Passion
As a Warehouse IV, you will utilize your warehouse operations experience, organizational skills, and commitment to safety to support daily material handling activities. You will be responsible for operating warehouse equipment, managing inventory transactions, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and safety standards.
As a Warehouse IV, you will be responsible for:
Receiving, inspecting, storing, and issuing materials in accordance with operational requirements.
Loading and unloading inbound and outbound freight safely and efficiently.
Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport products and materials.
Maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting inventory control activities.
Reading and interpreting work instructions, correspondence, shipping documents, and operational procedures.
Preparing materials for shipment while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
Performing routine warehouse transactions using inventory management systems and basic PC applications.
Supporting cycle counts, inventory audits, and material reconciliation activities.
Ensuring warehouse areas are organized, clean, and maintained in accordance with safety requirements.
Identifying and reporting inventory discrepancies, equipment issues, and safety concerns.
Collaborating with internal teams to support operational and customer requirements.
Following Baker Hughes HSE policies, quality standards, and operational procedures at all times.
To be successful in this role, you will:
Have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Have a minimum of 5 years of warehouse, logistics, inventory, or material handling experience.
Demonstrate experience operating forklifts and material handling equipment.
Possess basic PC skills and experience with warehouse transactions and inventory systems.
Have the ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions, procedures, and shipping documentation.
Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory and material handling activities.
Have the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and inventory-related tasks.
Be capable of working effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Have the ability to regularly lift up to 20 pounds and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
