The Walt Disney World Product Strategy & Planning team drives product experience strategies and capital investment plans delivering long-term sustained value for the Disney Experiences portfolio.

The Senior Manager, Product Strategy & Planning leads product experience growth initiatives for the Beyond Parks businesses — Resorts, Water Parks, Premium Services, and Transportation — developing and executing product strategies that maximize long-term profitability and guest value. The role partners closely with Operations, Finance, Disney Experience Intelligence, Industrial Engineering, Revenue Planning & Optimization, Marketing Strategy, and Walt Disney Imagineering, and reports to the Director, WDW Product Strategy & Planning.

Responsibilities

  • Build long-range product portfolio growth strategies and initiative plans aligned to WDW priorities, using experience performance, financial insights, and cross-functional input to inform recommendations and decisions.

  • Assess portfolio performance, emerging trends, and new business models to identify and evaluate growth opportunities across the Beyond Parks portfolio.

  • Deliver product portfolio initiatives that address guest needs, simplify the experience, capture seasonal opportunities, and extend the reach of TWDC franchises and IP.

  • Synthesize disparate data into a clear view of business performance, risks, and opportunities, backed by deep command of the P&L.

  • Lead and influence cross-functional teams to execute complex go-to-market strategies, launches, and capital project rollouts.

  • Represent the product experience point of view in cross-functional forums, driving alignment and contributing to commercial growth initiatives.

  • Manage complex projects with minimal direction, identifying new approaches and efficiencies.

  • Lead, develop, and grow direct reports while fostering a culture of excellence, encouragement, and ownership.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience, preferably with experience in business planning, product strategy, brand management and strategy, finance, or other commercial discipline.

  • Demonstrated strong financial acumen, including exposure to P&L management, as well as annual, long-range, and capital investment planning.

  • Deep understanding of the Walt Disney World business model, experience performance indicators, and commercial value drivers.

  • Proven ability to direct data-driven analyses and translate quantitative and qualitative insights into clear business recommendations.

  • Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives within a matrixed organization and evolving business environment.

  • Skilled at building trusted partnerships and influencing stakeholders across all levels of the organization.

  • Strong strategic thinker with sound judgment, intellectual curiosity, and a willingness to challenge the status quo.

  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and influence senior leadership.

  • Proven track record of building and developing high-performing teams while managing competing priorities and delivering business results.

  • Creative, entrepreneurial leader energized by identifying and pursuing future growth opportunities.

Required Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Industrial Engineering, Marketing, or other quantitative field, or equivalent.

Preferred Education

  • MBA or advanced degree.
