Job Title: Transformation Associate
Location: Derby / Hybrid
Working Pattern: Full Time / Permanent
Position Summary:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Transformation Associate to join the team in Derby.
Supports the Transformation Director and wider Transformation team; driving the Winning Together Transformation Programme, change agenda and capability build. Delivering programmes of activity from idea creation to deployment, performance managing progress, against workstreams plans and delivery of committed value, and managing risks and dependencies.
What you will be doing:
This is an opportunity to work across Rolls-Royce, as part of the Strategy and Transformation team, covering our Divisions, Business Capabilities and Enabling Functions. In this role you will act as ambassador for our Winning Together transformation programme and role model performance excellence as a member of the transformation team.
- Role models Transformation Programme performance excellence as a member of the Enterprise Transformation team.
- Act as Technical Assistant to the Transformation Director, supporting the Group wider Transformation programme.
- Works as part of a wider team, to deliver specific transformation projects from idea creation to deployment, ensuring they are robustly embedded in the operating model and ways of working.
- Supports the performance management of workstreams to meet deadlines and regularly communicates and collaborates with stakeholders, to enable the delivery of an overview of our transformation performance, inclusive of risks and actions.
- Provides insights and supports the monitoring of workstream progress; tracks against workstream plan and pipeline value, status of existing and emerging risks, potential roadblocks, including RAG status of the individual workstreams for SteerCo(s)/Governance reviews, financial plans and wider performance forums.
- Support transformation communication and engagement, providing updates, sharing best practise and celebrating successes.
- Executes the developed change management methodology on behalf of the programme.
- Using Agile methodology helps the workstreams team to achieve their goals; supports the team to resolve conflicts and issues that occur; and provide guidance where needed.
- Deep dive analysis and support on identified workstreams and/or specific initiatives that require greater support and intervention to course correct.

- The business acumen and technical knowledge to ask the right questions and work through the solutions to the many challenges that occur in programmes of this size and complexity.
- Experience of working with different cultures (countries / companies). Demonstrates enterprise and ‘one Rolls-Royce’ thinking.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with senior management.
- Has supported complex projects in more than one context, function or business.
- Experience in change management and agile skill set.
