Are you a passionate safety professional looking to hold a critical role within LEGO's Global Workplace Projects team?

Take the chance to drive the safety culture within the LEGO Group and deliver projects safely, in line with local safety regulations and LEGO standards in LEGO Manufacturing Vietnam.

No relocation assistance is offered for this position.

Core Responsibilities

  • Supervise health and safety practices across construction sites, taking charge of developing and enforcing local safety policies.

  • Support the development of a safety management system that incorporates safety policies and standards, with an emphasis on risk management and incident control.

  • Plan and implement safety training programmes for personnel in risk prevention and safety procedures.

  • Conduct safety inspections and audits to assess risk and ensure compliance with safety standards.

  • Identify potential hazards on construction sites and take corrective actions.

  • Coordinate and conduct accident and incident investigations, determine root causes, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

  • Maintain documentation of safety inspections, incidents, and corrective actions.

  • Communicate with project managers, contractors, and construction workers to inform them of applicable safety regulations and potential hazards.

  • Promote a culture of safety among the workforce by fostering an environment where safety procedures are followed diligently.

  • Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders across key business areas.

  • Ensure adherence to local safety regulations and legislative requirements at all times.

GWP (Global Workplace Projects) is a global department managing end-to-end construction processes, enabling capacity growth within the LEGO Group. The main area of focus covers production site expansion and major building modifications across several locations worldwide.

Construction Safety Managers play a critical role in our construction projects. They are responsible for advising and guiding our project teams so they can deliver projects safely, in line with local safety regulations and LEGO standards.

Do You Have What It Takes?

Education & Certification

  • A recognised Bachelor Degree in safety qualification.

  • Registered and/or licensed Safety Officer as per local Vietnamese regulatory requirements.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years of safety experience in high-risk industries such as construction or petrochemical.

  • Extensive knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.

  • Experience in safety reporting and record keeping.

  • Proven experience in hazard and risk management.

  • Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with other safety management software is a plus.

  • Knowledge of ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems) and related management systems.

  • Experience working in, or with, international or multinational companies.

  • Advanced oral and written English proficiency

  • Strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent communication and advisory skills.

  • Diligent with an analytical mindset.

  • Adequate functional expertise in construction safety.

  • A mindset and values aligned with those of the LEGO Group.
