Creates test strategies to make sure that the product and every stage of software development meets the standard. Formulates quality assurance frameworks, processes, procedures and metrics. Provides test summary reports reflecting the level of quality of the software under test, managing all testing activity using a variety of test management tools. Applies expertise to integrate continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) pipeline and automate testing processes.
- Creates a test strategy based on project requirements and schedules. Prepares Master Test Plans and Qualtiy Assurance (QA) sign off documentation.
- Verifies product documentation to ensure they are complete, correct, and consistent.
- Collaborates with software development teams to establish test requirements as part of the software development lifecycle. Develops & execute automated test scripts using automated testing tools.
- Applies automation to CI/CD pipeline.
- Records problems and issues in accordance with problem and issue management standards and practices.
- Analyzes defects and identifies root cause; Troubleshoots defects, so that it does not affect the product quality.
- Participates in the release control process (when the application is transferred from the build team to the test team) to ensure that solutions meet business requirements.
- Reports regularly on all QA activities, including progress on specific milestones, defect counts and patterns, resource participation, overall project status.
- Focus is primarily on business/group within BMO; may have broader, enterprise-wide focus.
- Provides specialized consulting, analytical and technical support.
- Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.
- Works independently and regularly handles non-routine situations.

Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked.
