As a Security Officer - Full Time - Overnight Guard in Cincinnati, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. As a Screener at a cultural institution, you will welcome visitors, monitor access points, and conduct screening procedures to help maintain a secure environment. You will remain visible, communicate professionally, report security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service while supporting a positive guest experience. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a cultural institution.
• Screen visitors, belongings, and incoming items in accordance with site procedures, using screening equipment and access-control processes as assigned.
• Verify visitor credentials and direct guests to appropriate entrances, screening areas, exhibits, and other designated locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned public areas, entrances, exhibit spaces, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
