32Registered Nurse | Surgical & Digestive Care Unit
Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our 24-bed Surgical & Digestive Care Unit in the beautiful Coulee Region of Wisconsin. This is an exciting opportunity to care for a diverse surgical, digestive, and Intermediate Care (IMC) patient population while advancing your clinical skills in a collaborative, team-focused environment.
What You Will Work
- 0.8 FTE | 64 hours every two weeks
- Rotating 8-hour day (6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.) and PM (2:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.) shifts

What You Will Do
- Provide Love + Medicine to surgical patients and those requiring medically managed digestive care. This unit cares for patients undergoing abdominal, vascular, urology, otolaryngology (ENT), trauma, bariatric, and plastic surgeries, among others.
- Care for patients across a range of acuity levels, including Intermediate Care (IMC) patients requiring enhanced monitoring, advanced nursing assessment, and timely clinical intervention.
- Deliver comprehensive care to complex patient populations, including those recovering from Whipple procedures, patients with sepsis, DVT with sheath, and those undergoing TCAR procedures.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team that includes physicians, advanced practice clinicians, social workers, dietitians, CNAs, and fellow RNs.

What You Need
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
- Current RN licensure in Wisconsin upon hire
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers
- New graduate and experienced RNs are encouraged to apply
- Surgical, digestive care, or medical-surgical nursing experience preferred
