About the role:

The Junior Financial Controller is involved in the process of the project lifecycle in order to control and secure the project financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor project budgets, costs, commitments and gross margins.
  
• Analyse budget deviations, identify financial risks and support corrective actions
• Support Project Managers with financial reviews and forecasts.
• Assist with project budgeting, tender analyse and financial reporting,
• Review Purchase Orders and Invoice allocations against approved budgets.
• Ensure compliance with financial procedures and contribute to process improvements.
• Support internal and external project audits when required, ensuring accurate financial documentation.
• Perform administrative and operational tasks related to the project financial management.

A BACKGROUND THAT CONVINCES US

Requirements:
-        Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field.-        2-4 years of experience in financial controlling, project finance or financial analysis. -        Experience in EU Projects is an advantage.-        Excel, Power BI knowledge and analytical skills.-        Fluent in English.-        Experience in ERP systems (Maconomy is an advantage).-        Be analytical, proactive, detail-oriented and collaborative.-        Based in Barcelona.
