Job Statement

We are looking for a highly motivated Mining Supervisor – Open Pit to join our growing GMS team within our Leonora Operations.

 

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced mining professional to contribute to a developing operation, work alongside a supportive team and share their knowledge and experience while gaining exposure to the wider business.

The ideal candidate will have a strong operational background, a hands-on approach to leadership and a genuine commitment to safety, operational performance and developing their team.

 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

 

• A current manual C Class Driver’s Licence
• A minimum of five years’ experience in open pit mining or quarrying, including experience operating mining equipment
• A Supervisor S26 Certificate
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate, lead and develop a diverse team
• Intermediate proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
• A collaborative approach, with demonstrated team-building capabilities
• A strong commitment to safety and operational excellence
