Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Security Clearance Observation Duties in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and report security-related concerns. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, team-focused culture built on agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, production areas, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, access-related observations, and other security-related events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
