Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time - Secret Clearance in Spring Lake, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at an aerospace and defense location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor entry activity, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service at a front desk within an aerospace and defense location by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and visitor management requirements.
• Greet employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel; verify authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems; report unusual activity, unauthorized access attempts, and equipment concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Answer phones, provide directions and general site information, receive deliveries, and maintain professional communication with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
