Bartender

Join our team at Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group Limited as a Bartender, where you will craft exceptional beverages and create memorable experiences for our guests.

Job Responsibilities:**

* Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently, adhering to company recipes and standards.
* Engage with guests in a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable manner, providing recommendations and answering questions about menu items.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, including glassware, spirits, mixers, and garnishes.
* Monitor guest alcohol consumption and act responsibly to ensure guest safety and compliance with all licensing regulations.
* Process guest orders and payments accurately using the POS system.
* Assist with inventory management, including stocking, rotating, and ordering supplies.
* Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
* Collaborate effectively with other front-of-house and back-of-house team members to ensure seamless service.

Job Qualifications:**

* Previous experience as a bartender, preferably in a luxury hotel or upscale restaurant environment.
* Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a service-oriented mindset.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of quality.
* Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Relevant bartending certification or training is a plus.
* Proficiency in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
