CDL Class A Fuel Transport Driver – Local, Home Daily
M.A. Wolf Trucking / E.H. Wolf & Sons • Slinger, WI • Full-Time • Hourly
$31/hr starting pay | Overtime after 40 | Local fuel hauling, home every night | 401(k) match from day one
Looking for a local CDL Class A driving job with strong earning potential and no nights away from home?
M.A. Wolf Trucking, part of E.H. Wolf & Sons, is a family-owned fuel and lubricants distributor serving Wisconsin since 1941. We're growing and looking for safety-focused CDL-A fuel transport drivers to join our team based out of Slinger, Wisconsin.
This isn't an over-the-road trucking job. You'll haul gasoline and diesel on local routes, operate reliable, well-maintained equipment, and be home at the end of every shift.
The hours are there if you're ready to put in the work. Most weeks run 65–70 hours, with overtime after 40. That means strong earning potential without spending nights on the road.
No OTR. No overnight stays. No mega-carrier runaround.
And if you're an experienced Class A driver who's never hauled fuel, don't count yourself out. Your driving experience has value here. Tanker and hazmat endorsements are preferred, and company assistance may be available to help qualified drivers obtain them.
What You'll Do
- Drive a Class A tractor-trailer fuel transport on local routes out of Slinger, WI
- Load gasoline and diesel at fuel terminals
- Deliver bulk fuel to gas stations, farms, construction companies, municipalities, and commercial customers
- Complete an average of 3–6 fuel loads per day
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip DVIR inspections and maintain accurate ELD logs and delivery paperwork
- Follow DOT, FMCSA, and hazmat safety regulations at every stop
- Represent Wolf with safe, dependable, and professional service
Schedule
- Local fuel transport routes, home daily
- Monday–Friday with rotating weekend work
- Typically 65–70 hours per week
- Overtime paid after 40 hours
Longer workweeks. Strong earning potential. Your own bed every night.
Pay & Benefits
- $31/hour starting pay
- Overtime after 40 hours
- Monthly safety bonuses
- 100% 401(k) company match up to 5%, starting day one
- Health, dental, and vision insurance
- PTO after 60 days, with up to 3 weeks in your first year
- 6 paid holidays
- Safety boot and prescription safety glasses reimbursement
- Company-issued uniforms
- Reliable, well-maintained equipment
Requirements
Required:
- Valid CDL Class A
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen
- Clean MVR and strong safety record
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, handle fuel hoses, and climb in and out of equipment
- Ability to work safely outdoors in Wisconsin weather
Preferred, not required (we'll help the right driver get there):
- Tanker (N) and Hazmat (H) endorsements, or combined X endorsement
- TWIC card
- 1+ year of Class A commercial driving experience
- Fuel transport, tanker truck, or bulk liquid hauling experience
Don't have your endorsements or TWIC card yet? Company assistance may be available for qualified drivers.
