Job description

This role involves supporting Hitachi Digital Global India's IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security of systems and networks.

Responsibilities:**

* Administer and maintain Windows and Linux server operating systems, including installation, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting.
* Perform network administration tasks, including configuring and monitoring switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs.
* Monitor system performance and availability, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
* Participate in incident response and problem management processes.
* Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
* Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to support business needs.
* Assist in the implementation of security best practices and compliance initiatives.
* Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members.

Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure systems administration.
* Strong proficiency in Windows Server operating systems (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy).
* Solid experience with Linux operating systems (e.g., Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu).
* Hands-on experience with Cloud platforms.
* Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewalls).
* Understanding of IT security principles and best practices.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
