About the Team

 

We build the platform that deploys and manages software modules and agents (Windows services) on customer endpoint machines at massive scale as well as some of the backend services that supports them. The system handles incremental rollouts and log collection across a huge device fleet, and it keeps growing.

 

AI is a big part of how we workday to day — we use AI-assisted tools (Claude Code, Cursor) to write code, write tests, debug, and automate parts of the SDLC. We're also planning to bring AI capabilities onto our own platform, so there's real opportunity to shape that as it happens.

 

We ship things that run on a lot of machines, we experiment with new tech instead of fearing it, and we let AI do the grunt work so we can spend our brains on the interesting problems. Bring curiosity, bring good questions, and we'll bring the coffee (and the code reviews).

 

Tech stack: Java, PostgreSQL, and AWS (incl. AWS IoT) on the backend; C# and Windows services on the client side. We keep an eye on new tech and aren't afraid to bring in the right tool for the job.

 

We're hiring a Software Engineer with 3+ years of experience to join our team building and scaling this platform. You'll get real ownership from day one, work alongside senior engineers who'll help you level up, and have plenty of room to grow — technically and in scope. The role spans both sides of the stack: backend (Java/PostgreSQL/AWS) and the C#/Windows-service side (UA).

What you will do

• Build and scale features end-to-end, from backend services to the Windows agent on the endpoint.
• Help bring AI into the product itself, and use AI tools daily to speed up your own development.
• Contribute to production readiness, CI/CD, and testing as the platform grows.
• Take part in code reviews and design discussions.

What makes you an ideal candidate

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Solid proficiency in Java and relational databases (PostgreSQL or similar).
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, ideally AWS.
• Understanding of distributed systems / service-to-service communication patterns.
• Strong debugging skills and a knack for figuring out why things break.
• Comfortable working across the stack when needed — backend internals through client-side behavior.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with clean, maintainable code as a habit, not an afterthought.
• Curious about AI and AI-assisted development and interested in applying AI to real product problems, not just as a coding sidekick.
• Can-do attitude, proactive, self-learner, good communicator — someone who makes the team better just by being on it.

 

Advantages:

• Experience with C# and Windows services.
• Experience with AWS IoT (thing shadows, MQTT) or similar device-management/push-notification patterns.
• Experience with installer technologies (WiX, MSI).
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development workflows (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) or building AI agents/features.
• Experience with agile methodologies.
