Description
Welcome to Haleon. We’re a purpose-driven, world-class consumer company putting everyday health in the hands of millions. In just three years since our launch, we’ve grown, evolved and are now entering an exciting new chapter – one filled with bold ambitions and enormous opportunity.
Our trusted portfolio of brands – including Sensodyne®, Panadol®, Advil®, Voltaren®, Theraflu®, Otrivin®, and Centrum® – lead in resilient and growing categories. What sets us apart is our unique blend of deep human understanding and trusted science.
Now it’s time to fully realise the full potential of our business and our people. We do this through our Win as One strategy. It puts our purpose – to deliver better everyday health with humanity – at the heart of everything we do. It unites us, inspires us, and challenges us to be better every day, driven by our agile, performance-focused culture.
As Director, Wellness Strategy Lead, you will work closely with and report directly to the General Manager, Wellness. You will be a trusted strategic partner to the Wellness leadership team, helping shape priorities and coordinate execution across a portfolio of 14 brands. This highly visible role combines portfolio strategy, executive communications, cross-functional leadership, and AI-enabled transformation to unlock leadership capacity and accelerate sustainable growth.
You will bring structure to complex business challenges, connect teams around shared outcomes, and translate emerging opportunities into practical, measurable action. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on leader who can create clarity, build momentum, and influence across a complex matrix.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy and Portfolio Coordination
- Partner with the General Manager and Wellness leadership team to translate business priorities into a focused strategic agenda across 14 brands.
- Coordinate and prioritize key requests from local, global, and external stakeholders, ensuring clear ownership, decisions, and follow-through.
- Co-lead the Integrated Growth Planning process, bringing rigor, alignment, and timely execution to portfolio plans.
- Develop high-quality presentations, recommendations, and decision materials for the CEO and other senior stakeholders.
- Support strategic customer engagements and selling stories, helping teams communicate the portfolio opportunity with clarity and impact.
Cross-Functional Leadership and Communications
- Design and lead executive roundtables, cross-functional forums, and other high-impact engagement moments across Wellness.
- Create purposeful “moments that matter” that strengthen alignment, collaboration, and shared accountability.
- Lead the development of compelling content, communications, and strategic narratives for internal audiences.
- Ensure messaging is consistent, audience-appropriate, and effective across teams and leadership forums.
- Anticipate dependencies and resolve barriers by connecting the right stakeholders at the right time.
AI-Enabled Transformation
- Lead and coordinate three to four priority AI transformation pilots across Wellness marketing, from opportunity definition through implementation and adoption.
- Partner with local, global, digital, data, technology, and external stakeholders to establish clear scope, governance, success measures, and delivery plans.
- Translate business needs into well-defined use cases and help teams apply AI responsibly to improve effectiveness, speed, and decision-making.
- Track outcomes, surface risks, and communicate progress and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Capture and share lessons across the broader organization, preparing successful pilots for scaled rollout across Wellness beginning in 2027 and, where appropriate, for wider U.S. adoption.
Location: Berkeley Heights, NJ (Hybrid - 3 days onsite per week)
Salary range: $187,946 - $258,426USD annually plus an annual bonus.
