Responsible for the full-cycle recruitment of physician and faculty positions across the medical center. This role serves as a strategic talent advisor to department chairs and deans to assess and hire highly qualified clinical, research, and academic faculty. The Recruiter manages all aspects of the recruitment process, including sourcing, candidate engagement, interview coordination, offer development, and onboarding support. The position requires knowledge of physician and faculty recruitment practices, academic medicine environments, faculty appointment processes, and applicable employment laws and regulations.Education & Experience
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor’s Degree and 1 year of work experience in recruitment or academic/clinical operations in academic medicine

Knowledge of physician recruitment practices and healthcare labor markets. Understanding of academic medicine structures, faculty ranks, tenure processes, and physician practice models. Strong candidate sourcing and networking capabilities. Excellent interpersonal, consultation, and relationship-building skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously while maintaining exceptional service standards. Strong organizational and project management skills. Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, recruitment technologies, and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for physician and faculty positions, including requisition intake, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer development, and onboarding support.
- Partner with deans, department chairs, and hiring leaders to develop recruitment strategies that align with clinical, academic, research, and workforce needs.
- Source and attract qualified candidates through physician recruitment networks, professional associations, academic institutions, conferences, digital platforms, and passive candidate outreach.
- Screen and evaluate candidates to assess clinical expertise, academic qualifications, leadership capabilities, and organizational fit.
- Coordinate and facilitate the interview process, including candidate communications, site visits, presentations, stakeholder meetings, and feedback collection.
- Serve as a trusted recruitment advisor by providing market intelligence, talent pipeline insights, and guidance on recruitment best practices.
- Manage offer and hiring processes, collaborating with compensation, faculty affairs, credentialing, and immigration partners to support successful candidate placement.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience by maintaining consistent communication, professionalism, and engagement throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, institutional policies, and recruitment procedures, maintaining accurate documentation and applicant tracking records.
- Monitor and report recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, candidate pipeline activity, offer acceptance rates, and hiring outcomes to support continuous improvement.
