## About this Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Employment Changes Product Owner to lead the end-to-end Employment Changes journey within SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central. You will shape the product roadmap, translate business priorities into scalable solutions and oversee employment lifecycle processes including employee data changes, organisational and position management, promotions, transfers, reporting-line changes, working-pattern updates and contract changes.
Working across HR Operations, HR Business Partners, Centres of Excellence, markets, IT teams and implementation partners, you will ensure that solutions are user-focused, compliant and aligned with global HR standards. This India-based role requires expertise in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, HR lifecycle processes, product or solution ownership, Agile delivery and senior stakeholder management
## What you’ll do
### Product and journey ownership
- Own the Employment Changes product strategy and roadmap.
- Define and maintain the journey vision, objectives and priorities.
- Align product decisions with business strategy, HR transformation objectives and global standards.
- Improve the experience of employees and managers through continuous service and process enhancement.
### Business requirements
- Gather, analyse and prioritise requirements from global and local stakeholders.
- Facilitate discovery workshops and requirement-refinement sessions.
- Translate business needs into clear functional requirements and user stories.
- Validate requirements against the product strategy and available system capabilities
### Solution design and governance
- Own the functional design of Employment Changes processes within SAP SuccessFactors.
- Ensure that solutions are scalable, compliant and aligned with global HR policies.
- Review and approve proposed system changes and enhancements.
- Lead design-authority decisions and maintain effective solution governance
### SAP SuccessFactors expertise
Provide subject-matter expertise across:
- Position Management
- Organisational Management
- Promotions and demotions
- Reporting-line changes
- Cost-centre changes
- Working-hours and working-pattern changes
- Contract changes
- International assignments and transfers
- Employee data maintenance
### Change, adoption and value delivery
- Lead stakeholder-readiness and change-management activities.
- Support communication, training and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Measure adoption, utilisation and user satisfaction.
- Promote consistent good practice across markets.
- Reduce manual HR administration through process standardisation, automation and simplification
## Who you are
You have demonstrable expertise in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.You understand HR employee lifecycle processes and their supporting data requirements.You have experience in product management, product ownership or solution ownership.You can manage and prioritise a backlog within an Agile delivery environment.You can turn complex business needs into clear requirements, user stories and scalable functional designs.You have experience in business-process design and optimisation.You can analyse data and use reporting insights to inform decisions.You communicate clearly and can build alignment with senior leaders and multidisciplinary stakeholders.You understand system integrations, dependencies and the potential effect of changes on downstream HR and payroll services.You can balance customer value, delivery effort, strategic alignment, compliance and operational risk when making product decisions
