Description
This position is part of the Essential Products business (Essco) within Animal Nutrition & Health (ANH). This is one of the two standalone entities to be created from ANH, as part of the divestment to CVC Capital.
As a Procurement Manager, you will lead strategic sourcing activities for raw materials and packaging, driving cost efficiency, supply security, and business growth. Working in a flexible hybrid environment, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and suppliers to develop sourcing strategies, negotiate contracts, identify and implement creation opportunities. The role offers end-to-end ownership of key procurement categories with significant business impact and visibility across the organization. Your key responsibilities
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for specific raw material categories and packaging to ensure supply continuity, cost competitiveness, and business growth.
- Identify and deliver cost-saving and value-creation opportunities across the procurement portfolio.
- Lead supplier selection, contract negotiations, and performance management to build strong strategic partnerships.Collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Commercial, and Product Management teams on cross-functional initiatives and OWC-optimization
- Monitor market trends, risks, and supplier capabilities to support informed business decisions and mitigate supply risks.
- Drive continuous improvement projects that enhance procurement processes, operational efficiency, and sustainability.

You bring
- Proven experience in strategic procurement, sourcing, and supplier management within a manufacturing, industrial, or FMCG environment.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with a track record of delivering cost savings and creating business value.
- Background in Chemistry / Business Administration is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, enabling data-driven decision-making and effective risk management.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across functions, regions, and supplier networks.
- Commercial acumen and market awareness, with the capability to identify opportunities, assess trends, and develop effective sourcing strategies.
- A proactive, results-oriented mindset combined with strong communication skills and the ability to drive initiatives in a dynamic international environment.
- Proficiency in both German and English for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
