Job Description
As a Security Officer - Chemical Facility Patrol in Baytown, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated chemical and petrochemical locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your role will include conducting routine patrols, managing access control, and providing outstanding customer service to all personnel and visitors. This is a driving post, requiring a valid commercial driver's license. Job Schedule:

- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the chemical and petrochemical location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
- Monitor for unusual activity or potential hazards specific to chemical and petrochemical environments, reporting concerns according to site protocols.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
- Document and report security-related incidents and observations as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
