As a Tax Associate you will support client tax compliance work within our Tax practice by reviewing financial information, preparing tax returns, and helping clients meet filing obligations across a range of tax situations. As an Associate you will contribute to project tasks, build your technical skills, adapt to changing priorities, and apply a learning mindset while delivering dependable work in a fast-paced environment. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Manila, you will work on tax compliance activities, gather and organize information from multiple sources, identify patterns in data, and communicate clearly with team members as you develop your understanding of tax laws, procedures, and Firm standards.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing client financial information and supporting tax compliance activities across assigned engagements
- Preparing and filing tax returns and related documentation in line with applicable tax laws and regulations
- Analyzing account balances, trial balances, and supporting schedules to identify tax reporting impacts
- Gathering data from client records and internal sources to support accurate tax workpapers and filings
- Researching tax rules, filing requirements, and compliance updates to support assigned work
- Drafting tax documents and organizing supporting evidence for review by senior team members
- Tracking open items, deadlines, and deliverables to support timely completion of compliance tasks
- Applying accounting practices and tax knowledge to reconcile data and flag inconsistencies for follow-up
- Developing familiarity with client industries, tax processes, and technical tools used in compliance work
What You Must Have
- At least 1 year experience
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in the following field of study: Accounting
- Client service associate positions are entry-level roles intended for job seekers who are completing or have recently completed their final academic year of educational requirements.
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
