Maintenance Supervisor - 2nd shift

Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 + bonus

About the Company
Our client is a food manufacturer operating a production plant in New Kensington, Pennsylvania. Relocation assistance is available.
The Role
As the 2nd shift Maintenance Supervisor you will lead maintenance teams in the installation, repair and preventive maintenance of critical equipment across the plant, facilities, utilities and powerhouse. The goal is to minimize mechanical downtime and keep product flow and production lines running at their peak.
What You Will Do
- Lead teams of maintenance mechanics and electricians in predictive and preventive maintenance and machine repairs.
- Train employees on proper work methods and safety procedures.
- Supervise and support maintenance systems, processes and documentation.
- Schedule maintenance in collaboration with Production to address equipment and facility repairs.
- Develop and implement maintenance systems (preventive and predictive maintenance, TPM, SOPs, safety).
- Provide long-term solutions and day-to-day support for troubleshooting, problem analysis and equipment failures.
- Develop and maintain KPIs for maintenance performance and report status to maintenance management.
- Make sure maintenance work complies with USDA regulations, and keep accurate records of work performed and inventory.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field and 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience leading others through training, coaching or mentoring, or through managing a process or project
- Ability to lead problem-solving and troubleshooting on high-level process issues
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Good planning and priority-setting skills
Nice to Have
- Advanced technical skills in ammonia refrigeration, high-pressure boilers, compressed air, and mechanical and electrical fields (PLCs, instrumentation)
- Knowledge of maintenance systems, work order processes, preventive/predictive maintenance, TPM, and inventory and scheduling software
- Food manufacturing experience
- Bilingual
