Bexar County ESD 4 Fire Rescue is located in the northwest corner of Bexar County, Boerne, Texas, serving commercial, residential, and wildland-urban interface areas. ESD 4 was founded in 1973 as Leons Springs Volunteer Fire Department. Because of the region's extensive growth, an ESD was established to provide Fire and EMS service to its constituents.
