The ideal candidate will perform a wide range of product tests using detailed work instructions, test procedures, and engineering documentation to evaluate and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic components. Responsibilities include setting up and operating test equipment, identifying and resolving issues, accurately documenting test results, and safely handling materials as they move on and off test platforms. The successful candidate will demonstrate initiative, a strong work ethic, the ability to perform effectively under pressure, and a proactive, team‑oriented approach in a fast‑paced work environment.

What You Will Do

• Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions.
• Operate hand tools, electrical tools, hand cutters, measuring equipment, and light equipment.
• Maintain inventory of product at assigned workstations.
• Perform quality checks, identify product defects, and record identified issues accurately.
• Assemble, rework, and/or repair assemblies and products in accordance with engineering specification changes.
• Complete all work in alignment with quality standards and established safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Qualifications You Must Have

• HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
• U.S. Citizen - The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings.
• Experience with hand tools, electrical tools, hand cutters, measuring equipment, or light equipment.
• Self-directed and action-oriented, with the ability to work collaboratively to resolve questions and problems.
• Have previous experience in testing/trouble shooting equipment/product.

The salary range for this role is 41,400 USD - 72,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
