Description
EAGLE Certification Group is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Human Resources & Finance Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of our Human Resources and Finance functions.
A primary responsibility of this position is the accurate and timely processing of payroll for both EAGLE employees and 1099 auditors. The position also supports benefits administration, recruiting, onboarding, HR compliance, accounts receivable, auditor administration, and other financial processes.
The ideal candidate is someone who takes ownership of their work, is highly accurate, and can independently manage recurring payroll cycles, deadlines, and administrative responsibilities. This role requires strong organization, follow through, problem solving skills, and discretion when handling confidential employee, auditor, payroll, and financial information.

Key Responsibilities
Payroll & Finance
- Manage and process staff and auditor payroll, ensuring payments are accurate, complete, and processed according to established deadlines.
- Review payroll information, timekeeping, deductions, reimbursements, rates, and payroll changes for accuracy prior to processing.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and supporting documentation for employees and auditors.
- Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to payroll-related questions.
- Coordinate the financial and administrative setup of new auditors, including information required for payroll and payment processing.
- Support auditor onboarding related to payments, invoicing, expenses, and travel processes.
- Support accounts receivable activities, including monitoring outstanding balances and assisting with follow-up.
- Review and process employee and contractor expense reports and reimbursements.
- Set up and maintain vendor records and required documentation.
- Calculate and process sales commissions.
- Assist with financial reporting, reconciliations, audits, and other Finance activities as needed.
Human Resources
- Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding, including required documentation, system setup, orientation, and employee record updates.
- Maintain accurate employee information within HRIS, payroll, and other HR systems.
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, employee changes, annual renewals, benefit questions, and required documentation.
- Support 401(k) administration, including census reporting, profit-sharing activities, and annual plan requirements.
- Coordinate recruiting activities through iSolved, including candidate communication, interview scheduling, applicant tracking, and the pre-employment processes.
- Coordinate performance review processes and monitor completion.
- Support employee training, engagement initiatives, and other HR programs.
- Respond to routine employee questions and appropriately escalate employee relations, policy, or compliance matters.
- Assist with maintaining HR policies, procedures, forms, and employee communications.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee, auditor, payroll, benefit, and other sensitive information.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in payroll, Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, or a related role preferred.
- Hands-on payroll processing experience strongly preferred.
- Experience processing payroll or payments for both employees and independent contractors is a plus.
- Experience with benefits administration, accounts receivable, or HR administration preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy, particularly when working with payroll and financial information.
- Ability to independently manage recurring payroll cycles and time-sensitive deadlines.
- Strong organization, prioritization, and follow-through.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to research discrepancies and identify solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential employee and financial information with discretion.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using HRIS, payroll, accounting, or applicant tracking systems.
- Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
