Description
Responsibilities:
• Partner with business units to understand operational challenges, KPIs, and process pain points; deliver data-driven insights to optimize workflows, reduce bottlenecks, and improve efficiency.
• Analyze large datasets to identify inefficiencies, cost drivers, turnaround issues, and opportunities for process/streamlining improvements in banking operations (e.g., transaction processing, onboarding, compliance).
• Build and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualizations to monitor operational performance, track improvements, and present actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Perform root-cause analysis and recommend optimizations for measurable gains
• Automate analysis/preparation tasks where possible using Alteryx or Python.
Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree in Analytics, Statistics, Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 4–6 years relevant experience as Data Analyst/BI Analyst, preferably with operational/process focus.
• Strong Tableau expertise (advanced dashboards, calculations, LOD, storytelling); Qlik Sense nice-to-have.
• Proficient in SQL
• Hands-on Alteryx (data prep/automation) or Python (analysis/scripting).
• Solid banking operations knowledge (e.g., workflows, efficiency metrics); excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Proficient in Cantonese, English and Mandarin
