Repairs and maintains die casting machines.
Requirements
- Repairs electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and other equipment related problems.
- Troubleshoot various makes of PLC.
- Understanding of Ladder programming.
- Able to work with up to 480 v.
- Knowledge of robotic programming and troubleshooting.
- Performs preventative maintenance on die casting machines.
- Diagnosis’s machine malfunctions and determines need for repairs.
- May weld broken structural parts using arc-welding equipment.
- May repair or replace faulty wiring, switches and relays.
- Maintain inventory of machine parts and fluids.
- Works overtime as needed.
- May be required to work any shift.
- Must perform other duties as assigned by the Team Leader or Group Leader.
- Keep working area clean, organized and picked up (COP) and follow safety regulations.
- Must be able to endure strenuous climbing, kneeling, standing, pushing, carrying and bending.
- May be required to mark and scribe dimensions for new machines set in accordance to blue prints.
- May be required to tolerate excessive noise, smoke and heat.
