At United Quality Cooperative, we are a locally owned cooperative that is a leader in providing dependable service to our customers in the automotive industry. As a Tire Technician, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and repairing a variety of tires, including sedans, pickups, trucks, trailers, and tractors. You will also have the opportunity to safely operate a tire truck in the field.

Position Requirements:

• Ability to diagnose problems with tires and repair a variety of tires – sedans, pickups, trucks, trailers, and tractors.
• Ability to safely operate a tire truck in the field.
• Knowledge of tire types, sizes, and tread patterns.
• Ability to use various tire service equipment and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy tires.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years working in the tire repair and service profession.
• Completion of tire technician training program or certification is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Able to pass Pre-employment background and drug testing.

Physical Requirements

• Capacity to lift 50+ pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel and squat for extended periods of time.
• Competence to work in all weather conditions.
• Exposure to noise, dust, fumes, airborne particles.
