Job Title: IBM Sysplex Location : Basildon, UKJob Type: Contract- 5 Days Onsite Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced IBM Sysplex / Mainframe Specialist with strong expertise in z/OS environments and proven experience in the financial services domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting Parallel Sysplex environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and resilience of mission-critical financial applications. Required Skills:Strong experience in IBM Mainframe technologies Hands-on expertise in: Parallel Sysplex Coupling Facility managementz/OS system programming Experience with: CICS Transaction Server DB2 for z/OS IMS Knowledge of automation tools (e.g., IBM System Automation) Familiarity with performance monitoring tools (OMEGAMON, RMF, SMF) Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Preferred Skills:Experience with GDPS / DR solutions Knowledge of z/OS automation tools (SA z/OS, NetView) Familiarity with IBM Z hardware (z14/z15/z16) Basic scripting using REXX, CLIST
