Medical Billing Specialist

American Medical Billing, LLC is looking for a Medical Biller who can help us achieve our company's financial goals. The Medical Billing Specialist will be responsible for collections of outstanding receivable dollars from the existing client base and all other aspects of collections, resolving customer billing problems and reducing accounts receivable delinquency. This individual will need to execute their plan to bring in the maximum amount of revenue. The ideal candidate for this position is able to work as part of a self-motivated team and be able to work in an environment where work assignments change frequently. Responsibilities Research each account using company records and the necessary internet resources that are made availableMaking outbound collection calls in a professional manner while keeping and improving customer relationsResolve client-billing problems and rescue accounts receivable delinquency, applying good customer service in a timely mannerDevelop collections methods that consistently lead to achieving or exceeding company financial goalsCollect customer payments in accordance with payment due datesProvide timely follow-up on payment arrangementsIdentify issues attributing to account delinquency and discuss them with managementSolve problems quickly and create resolutions that bring revenue on a regular basisReconcile patient disputes as they pertain to payment of outstanding balances that are dueProvide excellent customer service to the patientsMeet defined goals and activity metricsLiaison with corporate RCM Qualifications The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of 2 years of collections experience including interaction with a large patient baseStrong communication, problem-solving and analytical skills requiredCapable of identifying and completing tasks independently and with a sense of urgencyAbility to work independently and to adapt to a fast-changing environmentAbility to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilitiesAbility to verify insurance and review detailed work such as EOBs In Turn, We Will Provide: Benefits to full-time team members that include comprehensive medical, dental and optical coverage, 401K, and short and long term disabilityCompany-paid life insurancePaid holidays and generous paid time offPaid parking where applicableTeam oriented working environment where you are heard and respectedClear career ladder opportunities About American Medical Billing, LLC  American Medical Billing, LLC is a well-established billing and consulting service for medical practices.
