Sunset Senior Living in Quincy, IL has Part-Time Dietary Aide Openings:
Hours: Part-Time 16-24 hours per week
Shift Time: 3:30p-7:30p
The Dietary Aide will assist in the preparation and serving of meals, ensuring that residents receive nutritious, well-balanced meals in a clean and safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in meal preparation and ensure meals are served in a timely manner.
- Deliver food trays and assist residents with meals as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with dishwashing and cleaning duties.
- Take residents' dietary needs and preferences into consideration.
- Report any issues or concerns regarding residents' dietary needs to the Dietary Manager.
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation.
- Other duties as assigned by the Dietary Manager.
Requirements
- Must have Food Handlers Certification or willing to obtain through us.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Must be able to lift and carry heavy items as needed.
