This position reports to:
Country Holding Officer__
As a Real Estate Specialist, you will coordinate and support the day-to-day management and optimization of the company's leased real estate portfolio across Hungary, with a broader sub-regional scope covering selected Central and Eastern European countries (Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia and other local countries as workload dictates). Acting as the central point of contact between internal stakeholders, landlords, service providers and external real estate partners, you will ensure that our locations operate efficiently, comply with relevant regulations and continue to meet evolving business needs.
This is a hands-on specialist role for someone who enjoys combining operational problem-solving with project coordination. You will oversee multiple real estate-related initiatives simultaneously, from lease renewals and office improvements to relocations, facility upgrades and portfolio optimization, while working closely with business functions, procurement, finance, legal, IT, HSE and external agencies.
The role will report to the Country Holding Officer for Hungary and dotted line to the Country Real Estate Manager for Czech Republic.
Key responsibilities:
Partner with business to understand operational needs and collaborate with Finance, Controlling, Procurement, Legal, IT, Security and HSE to deliver real estate initiatives and support effective cost management and project execution
Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, property managers, external real estate agencies and facility management partners
Coordinate day-to-day real estate activities across multiple leased office and industrial locations, ensuring the timely resolution of property-related issues with landlords and vendors
Lead or coordinate real estate projects, lease negotiations and tender processes in cooperation with internal stakeholders and external partners
Conduct market research and analysis to identify real estate opportunities and support portfolio optimization initiatives
Perform property audit and regular site visits to assess conditions and ensure compliance
Ensure all leased properties and transactions comply with local zoning, applicable real estate, environmental, and municipal regulations
Monitor regulatory changes and initiate required actions together with internal and external stakeholders
Manage lease administration, including renewals, amendments and related documentation
Prepare real estate reports, maintain property records and documentation, provide project updates to management
Contribute to the continuous improvement of real estate processes, governance and portfolio management across the region
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Law or another relevant discipline
Around 3-5 years of experience in commercial real estate, property management, facility management or a similar role
Good understanding of Hungarian real estate legislation and the regulatory environment affecting leased commercial properties
Knowledge of Hungarian Tax Code requirements for real estate transactions
Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders, vendors and external service providers
Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities
Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities and take ownership of assigned tasks
Proactive attitude, practical thinking and willingness to "make things happen”
Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills
Familiarity with CRM systems and database management, advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Fluent Hungarian and English, both written and spoken
Valid category B driving licence
You are EU national or hold Hungarian VISA/work permit
