We’re looking for a standout employment lawyer to take the lead in Manchester—someone who enjoys autonomy, influence, and the chance to redefine how employment law support is delivered.

What you’ll be doing
- Leading employment law support across the Manchester market
- Advising on complex ER matters, tribunals, and strategy
- Helping clients stay compliant (and ahead of the curve)
- Shaping policies, processes and best practice
- Playing a key role in growing AfterAthena in the region
What we are looking for
- Senior employment lawyer (ideally 6+ PQE, but we’ll flex for the right person)
- Someone commercially minded who enjoys client relationships
- A natural problem-solver who thrives on variety
- A builder—someone who wants to create, not just maintain
