Position Summary
As a Banquet Server, you will provide outstanding food and beverage service while ensuring every event is executed with professionalism and attention to detail. Working closely with the banquet and culinary teams, you will help create memorable experiences for members and guests by delivering exceptional hospitality in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up banquet rooms with tables, linens, chairs, place settings, and décor according to event specifications.
- Serve plated meals, buffets, hors d'oeuvres, desserts, and beverages in a courteous and professional manner.
- Provide attentive, personalized service throughout weddings, receptions, golf tournaments, business meetings, and private events.
- Clear tables, replenish supplies, and maintain a clean, organized event space.
- Assist with event setup and breakdown, including moving tables, chairs, and banquet equipment.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and event managers to ensure seamless service.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Maintain Forest Hills Country Club's high standards of hospitality, professionalism, and member satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous banquet, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to thrive in a team environment.
