The Opportunity
We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive person to join our corporate waitstaff in our Sydney office.
This is an entry level role for someone with strong customer service skills, excellent teamwork abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality experiences. If you’re ready to learn and looking to take your hospitality skills into a corporate setting this is the role for you!
The shifts for this role are dynamic, this role includes five 8-hour shifts a week between 7:30am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. This may also include occasional evening events, with overtime time.
What you’ll do
Take and make drink orders for client and internal staff meetings
Support with room setup requirements for meetings and events
Provide attentive waiter service and basic audio-visual or video conferencing support during meetings and events
Ensure meeting rooms are promptly cleared, cleaned, and restocked after each session, maintaining a high standard of presentation
Assist with monitoring, ordering and accurately record stock usage
Support occasional kitchen duties and assist with after-hours or off-site events as required
What you’ll bring
Previous experience in a hospitality or retail environment (preferred but not required)
A great attitude and strong communications skills
Experience with a coffee machine (preferred but not required)
A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
A willingness to adapt to a corporate environment
Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook for basic communication and scheduling tasks
A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service with a friendly, professional, and proactive approach
Works well as part of a collaborative team, supporting colleagues to ensure smooth service delivery and a positive work environment
Is curious about new tech and open to learning, even better if you’re excited about AI!
