Job Summary
The Senior SEO Manager is a valuable member of our Corporate Marketing Team and serves as the primary executor of the SEO team’s strategy. The Senior SEO Manager implements new campaigns, performs regular maintenance and audits. Responsibilities include employing tools and programs to analyze, optimize and resolve issues for improved performance on driving traffic to our corporate web properties. The Senior SEO Manager focuses on establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with the rest of the corporate marketing team and with the Divisional Presidents and Growth Marketing Managers by being proactive on campaign optimization and responsive to evolving trends, problem solving with creativity, and diligent in documenting needs and solutions that may require additional internal support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the end-to-end SEO roadmap across all corporate web properties, aligning organic efforts with business revenue targets and pipeline goals.
- Adapt content and technical architecture to maintain high visibility and citation rates across AI surfaces (Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc.).
- Conduct regular technical audits (crawlability, indexability, site speed, redirect maps, and XML sitemaps) using tools like Google Search Console, and Semrush/Ahrefs.
- Partner with web development and engineering teams to optimize Core Web Vitals, mobile responsiveness, structured data (Schema.org), and site security.
- Lead SEO requirements for new site builds, CMS migrations, domain consolidations, or URL restructurings to protect existing rankings and organic traffic.
- Perform advanced keyword and intent mapping to identify search gaps, buyer pain points, and competitive search trends.
- Provide detailed briefs, meta optimization, and content updates to editorial, copy, and product marketing teams to elevate page-level optimization.
- Oversee backlink acquisition strategy, focusing on high-authority, contextually relevant domain placement through digital PR, original research assets, and brand citations.
- Manage organic representation across key industry review sites, directories, and third-party platforms that fuel both buyer shortlists and AI model training data.
- Own the organic analytics stack (GA4, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, position tracking software) to measure traffic, rankings, and share of voice.
- Build executive dashboards connecting organic traffic and AI visibility directly to downstream qualified leads, pipeline creation, and customer conversion.
- Collaborate with CRO and web marketing teams on A/B testing, landing page design, and CTA optimization to convert search traffic into active conversions.
- Partner with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Brand/Creative, and Engineering teams to integrate SEO best practices early into campaign launches and product releases.
- Translate complex search performance data into clear narrative insights and presentation updates for marketing leadership and executives.
- Perform technical website audits to identify areas of improvement and potential issues.
- Optimize offsite properties and business listings.
- Stay abreast of new developments and changes in the search industry; proactively share best practices, trends, and tips with team.
- Serve as a training resource for cross functional teams.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience performing SEO activities in a professional setting.
- Intermediate understanding of SEO best practices for web content, including keyword selection, link building, content creation, keyword density analysis and site linking.
- Healthy working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush and other SEO tools
- Excellent writing skills (in the English language) for concise web content.
- Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently, follow procedures, adhere to due dates and established turn-around times with minimal supervision.
- Excellent attention to detail and appreciation for quality and the implications to company reputation and branding.
- Adept at problem-solving, including ability to creatively develop solutions and workarounds as needed.
- Intermediate knowledge of web-based applications and common Internet protocols and conventions (web browsers, email, HTTP, FTP) and Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel) is required.
- Basic knowledge of web display languages (e.g., HTML, CSS, Javascript).
- Strong mind for improving processes and strong ability to use Excel and other tools to automate common tasks and analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate articulately both verbally and in writing.
- Prioritize needs of self, others, and organization, contribute to an enjoyable and supportive work atmosphere.
- Experience with creating & ranking own site a big plus!
