As our Lead Flagger, you'll supervise a team of traffic controllers, keep construction sites and special events running safely and smoothly, and make real-time calls that protect crews and the public alike. What You Will Do:
Supervise and lead a team of traffic controllers (Flaggers or TCPs), providing guidance and support.
Assist in the development, implementation, and management of traffic management plans, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project requirements.
Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and local authorities to ensure smooth traffic flow during construction projects and special events.
Conduct site assessments to identify potential traffic hazards and recommend appropriate control measures.
Monitor traffic conditions, respond to incidents, and make real-time adjustments to traffic control strategies.
Assist in the training of traffic control staff on safety procedures, traffic regulations, and proper use of equipment.
Maintain accurate records, including incident reports, equipment inventory, and staff attendance.
Keep equipment well organized and in working order.

What you bring:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in traffic control in urban environments.
Proficient in the 2015 MOT Traffic Management Manual
Valid TCP Certificate
LCT Certificate
Strong knowledge of traffic control techniques, regulations, and equipment.
Work is performed outdoors at construction sites dealing with inclement weather.
Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required.
Proper lifting techniques required may include lifting up to 50 pounds.
Require standing for long periods of time.
Proficient in using computer software and applications related to traffic management.
Salary Range:
$28 - $32 Per Hour
