Based in Bangalore, India, this senior individual contributor (C3) role suits professionals with 5 to 7 years' experience who grow with owning BI products end to end.

You will partner closely with multi-functional leaders to translate business questions into intuitive dashboards, reliable data models, and secure, scalable solutions that leaders rely on every day. How would you design a Power BI product that becomes the single source of truth for critical decisions?

Accountabilities:

• BI Solution Ownership: Lead the end-to-end design, development, and management of Power BI solutions that drive measurable business outcomes across commercial, medical, and operations teams.

• Reporting and Analytics Excellence: Build interactive dashboards and visualizations to communicate important data and insights. Perform advanced data modelling, implement Row-Level Security, and develop robust DAX calculations that improve decision speed and quality.

• Data Integration and Modelling: Integrate data from different sources into cohesive Power BI datasets. Apply best-practice data warehousing concepts to ensure performance, reliability, and maintainability.

• Power Platform Enablement: Leverage and guide the use of Power Apps and Power Automate where appropriate to streamline workflows and enhance user experience.

• Testing, Documentation, and Standards: Lead SIT, create test cases, and produce SOPs and TDDs to ensure traceability, audit readiness, and consistent delivery quality.

• Collaborator Partnership: Partner with business teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions. Translate business ideas into dashboard solutions, document methodologies and approaches, and communicate clearly with senior collaborators.

• Project Leadership: Plan and manage BI development work, prioritize backlogs, and act as the senior point of contact across multiple BI developers to deliver to scope, quality, and timelines.

• Data Quality and Governance: Use advanced SQL for data exploration and testing, detect challenges early and raise them, and ensure secure deployments including RLS to protect critical data.

• Continuous Improvement and Adoption: Track usage, collect feedback, iterate rapidly, and coach peers to uplift team practices, with a constant focus on accuracy, usability, and business impact.

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Professional experience in Business Intelligence with at least 4 years hands on experience with Power BI.

• Expertise in Power BI Report development.

• Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including data modelling, Power Query, and DAX or equivalent experience.

• Advanced SQL skills for data exploration and data testing.

• In depth knowledge of working with different data sets under standard methodologies required (master keys, key linkage, star schema, etc).

• Good project management skills within a BI development environment.

• Proven track record of different Power BI use cases.

• A very good knowledge of user experience design for BI solutions allowing to suggest possible design options in the prototyping phase.

• Ability to understand and translate business ideas into dashboard solutions as well as to appropriately communicate directly with collaborators.

• Experience in SIT & test case documentations.

• SOP & TDD document creation.

• Presentation and storytelling abilities.

• First team lead experience / playing the role of senior point of contact among multiple BI developers required.

• An ability to detect challenges early and to raise it.

• Attention to detail to ensure any reports released have accurate data.

• A proactive approach and focus on team success.

• A good command of English and effective interpersonal skills.

• Excellent analytical and logical thinking.

• Highly motivated self-starter, committed to results, effective at prioritizing and managing multiple tasks concurrently.

• Good communication and presentation skill.

• Ability to work independently.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and transformation.

• Familiarity with SharePoint, Snowflake, and cloud-based services (Azure, AWS, etc.), and their integration,

• Knowledge and usage of neighboring Microsoft applications – like Power Apps and Power Automate – is of advantage.

• Hands-on experience in Python would be an added advantage.

• A certification is desired.

• Proficiency in SQL & Data warehousing concepts.
