Design & Proposal Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Proposal Development- Prepare technical and commercial proposals for water treatment systems (ETP, STP, RO, MBBR, UF,ZLD, UPW etc.).
• Review tender documents, specifications, and client requirements to determine scope.
• Develop process flow diagrams, equipment sizing, and preliminary layouts.
• Provide technical clarifications during bidding and negotiation stages.
• Support sales teams with technical presentations and solution explanations
• Costing & Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates including equipment, materials, manpower, and subcontracting.
• Optimize solutions to balance performance, cost, and competitiveness.
• Liaise with vendors and suppliers for technical and commercial quotations.
• Preparation of BEP and post order documents, discussion with client /consultant & getting engineering approval
• Exposure to international projects across diverse geographies.

Qualifications & Skills

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering.

Experience: 10 ( min) years in proposal and process engineering, preferably in water/wastewater treatment industry. Working knowledge in design software like waves, IMSD etc.

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of treatment processes (RO, MBBR, UF, ETP, MBR, UPW, ZLD, STP).

Skills:

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and AutoCAD.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple proposals simultaneously.
• Shall speak Arabic
