Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for RNAIPL in compliance with Ind AS/IFRS.
- Conduct provision controlling and variance analysis to support business decisions
- Handle accounting for design & development costs and product introduction cost in accordance with applicable standards.
- Monitoring Inventory accounting and relevant controls for necessary bookkeeping and book closure.
- Supervise account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Maintain lean balance sheet with periodical reviews and refinement
- Lead Group reporting package in line with Renault Groupe requirements.
- Maintain reserve reconciliations from time to time
- Bring initiatives in automation and digitalisation across all the process
- Guide the team of General accounting, accounts payable and receivable and fixed asset accounting and capitalisation process
Asset (PPE) Management
- Support the accounting and reporting of fixed assets including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals.
- Ensure Timely capitalisation of assets and settlement of advances
- Control measures to safeguard the assets by tracking methods and verification processes.
- Proper computation of depreciation and timely evaluation of CGU for impairment calculation to derive recoverable value
- Ensure no qualification in audit report / CARO on PPE.
- Support Tax team for necessary computation of tax depreciation, WDV and DTA / DTL
- Guide the team for necessary adherence of IND AS / IFRS compliance
- Timely reporting on PO settlements / gaps in respect to CAPEX and necessary assistance to budget team.
Inventory Accounting
- Ensure proper inventory accounting for COGS, Purchase and sales
- Should handle the Inventory accounting of Parts, Raw material, work in progress and finished goods
- Support auditors and Inventory team for necessary co-ordination physical verification
- Take enough measures to safeguard inventory and relevant controls to ensure no qualification in audit report / CARO.
Audit & Compliance
- Support Group, Statutory, Internal and Special Purpose Audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
- Assist in testing and improving Internal Controls Over Financial Reporting (ICFR).
Ad Hoc and Management Reporting
- Respond to special reporting requests from senior management with accurate and timely data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and insights for financial reports on-time.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: CA / CMA Completed
- Experience: Minimum 10–12 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, audits, and compliance.
- Accounting Standards: Strong knowledge of Ind AS, IFRS, and preferably JGAAP.
- Systems Knowledge: Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
